How to visit USFSP

We understand the importance of choosing which university will best meet your needs -- that's why we encourage a site visit, even if you have to fly all day to reach us!

If you choose to visit us, please let us know in advance so we can arrange not only to take you on a tour of the university, but also to introduce you to professors who teach the subject you are interested in.  Send an email to applyintl@stpt.usf.edu, with the subject line "visiting USFSP".

To visit our campus from overseas, the easiest way is to fly into Tampa International Airport (TPA).  A taxi to St. Petersburg then costs under $45 including tip; you can also take the Airport Shuttle.

A number of more affordable charter flights are available from northern Europe into Sanford Airport, and Miami and Orlando airports are cheaper gateways into Florida.  Ground transportation is significantly more time-consuming and expensive from these airports.

There are a number of excellent hotels in St. Petersburg.  Those within walking distance of USF St. Petersburg include: The Hilton, Hampton Inn and Suites, and Grayl's Hotel.
