Outstanding Employee Award Program for 2008

The Outstanding Employee Awards Program recognizes selected employees for exceptional efforts, accomplishments, and contributions to the University and represents USF St. Petersburg's highest honor. Administration, Staff, and non-teaching Faculty employees are eligible to be nominated.

Nominations are solicited from the community. Senior leaders, managers, supervisors, and/or coworkers are encouraged to take the time to nominate an employee that has demonstrated excellence throughout the year.

DEADLINE DATE FOR NOMINATIONS EXTENDED: Friday, March 21, 2008

Criteria:

• A nominee must be a regular employee appointed .50 FTE or more on a position within USF St. Petersburg’s organizational structure.  This excludes employees with the modifiers of temporary, emergency, visiting, trainee, acting and provisional.
• A nominee must not have any current documented disciplinary actions or substandard evaluation on file.
• A nominee must have one year of continuous university service (excluding time spent as OPS).
• A nominee must not have been a recipient of the award for the past two years.
