University Relations
University Relations serves as the center for USF St. Petersburg communications, marketing, event planning and web site initiatives. We develop unique relationships with and communicate to the complete array of USFSP constituencies, both internal and external, creating a broader, deeper and more complete understanding of USF St. Petersburg. The focus of every University Relations activity supports the institution's mission of teaching, research and service.

Commencement
Because of our smaller graduating classes, USF St. Petersburg is able to add a few special touches to make it a memorable experience for our graduates. You will graduate with your fellow students and celebrate with advisors, professors and administrators who have helped you along the way. The ceremony is approximately 90 minutes in length. Marketing & Publications
University Relations coordinates print advertising, broadcast advertising, branding and promotional efforts. We provide advice and assistance with marketing plans, strategic communications and community outreach efforts, produce a weekly e-mail publication, and maintain the Web calendar of events.

Media Relations
University Relations is the primary liaison to external news media. We promote USF St. Petersburg by pitching a variety of news stories, positioning faculty opinion pieces, and providing expert commentary for current news. Media Relations is also responsible for editing and publishing the USF St Petersburg newsletter: eNews.

We also direct the USFSP graphic identity program and authorize the use of USF marks, signing off on display advertisements prior to payment from purchasing.
