Edit Page Title

Page titles refer to the text that appears on the bar at the top of the browser. For example, look at the Title of this page. Search engines use the page Title as it's link to your page. Page titles are also used as the breadcrumb for a page (again look at the text on the bar at the top of the browser and at the last words in the breadcrumb on this page. They are the same.

To change your page title:

1. Click on the “Page Properties” icon on the Contribute toolbar (located on the right side; it's also under "Format" when you are in "Edit" mode).
2. Edit the page title as desired.
3. Click “OK” when complete.
4. Click on “Publish” when finished editing the page.

Important Note: Page titles are user friendly descriptions of pages. These are not to be confused with file names which are short names with a .htm extension.
