• Narrow down your major choices.
• If you are interested in a major that requires prerequisites for admission. Check the catalog for the necessary courses.

College of Education

• Complete your Liberal Arts requirements.
• Complete your English requirements.
• Maintain an appropriate GPA and meet GPA prerequisites for major and to stay in good academic standing
• Do not forget about the CLAST
  • Attempted CLAST after 45 semester hours have been accrued
  • Registration privileges will be revoked if CLAST has not been attempted by the time you earn 55 semester hours
  • Pass all parts of the test prior to completion of Sophomore year

• Declare your major or pre-major at 45 semester hours
• Start seeing the College Advisor based upon your major from 45 semester hours on
