| Career Fairs - Student Information |
|
Exclusively for USF Students & Alumni |
| Event Overview |
| A Career Fair is a great way to network face-to-face with local and national employers interested in hiring USF students and graduates for full-time, Co-op and internship positions. Career Fairs are FREE of charge to USF students and alumni. Because there are so many employers all in one place on the same day, Career Fairs are a very efficient use of your job search time. |
| Career Fairs provide great opportunities |
- Discuss employment openings with employers.
- Distribute your resume (bring at least 10 -15 copies of laser quality with you.)
- Discuss your qualifications, skills and academic background.
- Obtain company information/business cards of organizations that interest you.
|
What to do before a Career Fair
|
- Research Web sites of employers who will be attending.
- Update your resume.
- Prepare and rehearse a 1-minute script about yourself.
- Anticipate and practice answering possible questions.
- Put together a business-professional outfit for the fair.
