Our Mission

The Positive Family Intervention Project is a research study that has been designed to evaluate two approaches to parent education, both of which have been proven to be effective in improving children's behavior. Parents participating in this study learn to deal with their children's behavior more positively and effectively.

Final Year of Project Funding

The Positive Family Intervention Project is in its fifth and final year of funding and we are shifting our focus from intervention to data analysis and dissemination.  Therefore, as of April 2009, we are no longer able to accept new referrals to our program.  We will continue to update this site and provide information upon request.  If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Meme Hieneman at 727-873-4814 or eno@spadmin.usf.edu.
