Welcome
To the University of South Florida St
Petersburg Criminology program!
The University of South Florida St Petersburg is a
waterfront campus located on Bayboro Harbor in downtown St Petersburg. The
university currently has over 4,000 students and is expected to grow
dramatically over the next decade.
The criminology program is located in the College of
Arts and Sciences. There are approximately 140 undergraduate criminology
majors making it the second largest major in the College. Still, one of the
primary benefits of our program is the small classroom sizes and the
personal attention given to each of our students.
As a department we offer courses in wide variety of
criminological areas including but not limited to juvenile justice, gender
and crime, drugs and crime, capital punishment, white collar crime and corrections.
Our goal is to provide students with valuable critical thinking, research,
and writing skills that will make them better citizens and professionals.
