Community Partners

The faculty of the Division of Environmental Science, Policy and Geography work closely with local, state and federal environmental agencies, as well as numerous private environmental and engineering firms and non-profit organizations in the region. Examples of organizations that have partnered with faculty from the program include the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Florida Wildlife Research Institute, Boyd Hill Nature Park, the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, Janicki Environmental, City of St Petersburg, Sierra Club, Tampa Bay Estuary Program, South West Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD), the Center for Ecological Assessment (CEA) in Sarasota County, United States Geological Survey, PBS&J Environmental Engineering, the Science Center of Pinellas County, the Pinellas County Extension Service, and the Florida Yards & Neighborhoods Program.
