Krest Geology Assistant Professor, Ph.D., University of South Carolina, 1999 Email: Dr. James Krest Phone: (727) 873-4970 (O), or (727) 873-4836 (Lab) Dr. Krest's research involves the use of natural and injected tracers to track the movement and mixing of water. He is currently using short-lived radioactive tracers to study the cycling of phosphorus in the Everglades, and is active in research groups studying submarine groundwater discharge in the coastal ocean.
