THE MUSEUM OF FINE-ARTS  

The Permanent Collection of approximately 4,000 works is the only comprehensive art collection, extending from antiquity to the present day, on the Florida west coast. The collection is particularly strong in nineteenth-century French and American painting, early twentieth-century American painting, and photography. The Museum's photography collection of nearly 700 works is considered one of the finest in the South. Among the French artists represented in the collection are: Fragonard, Robert, Daumier, Corot, Gérôme, Cézanne, Monet, Rodin, Morisot, Gauguin, Renoir, and Picabia.
