The purpose of this grant is to examine the evolution of early coparenting dynamics and infant contributions to this unfolding, and to seed further research efforts designed to better understand and strengthen coparental functioning in families.

The focus of this grant is on establishing early risk and protective factors foreshadowing coparental functioning in the early months of the transition to new parenthood.

The focus of this grant is on establishing whether solidarity between incarcerated mothers and the family caregivers looking after their young children during the incarceration enhances adjustment and protects children from serious behavioral problems.
