Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Becoming a Certified Internal Auditor validates your status as a professional within the internal audit field. There are also Specialty Certifications within the auditing profession; they are: Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP), Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA), and Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA).
