2008-2009 Scholarship Opportunities

Keep in mind that not all departments and colleges list their scholarships with us. If you do not see the area in which you are interested, contact your department of interest directly to inquire about scholarship opportunities.

Automatically Awarded Admissions Scholarships - These are the institutional scholarships offered to First Time In College and Transfer students based upon your application to USF.

USF St. Petersburg Privately Funded Scholarships - Unfortunately, the deadline for applying for these scholarships was March 28th, 2008. Please continue to check here for any scholarship reopenings.

• New Opportunity for Military Veterans Injured in the Line of Duty: Dr. John Allwein Scholarship for Military Veterans Injured in the Line of Duty. Due August 1, 2008.

Departmental Scholarships - Our Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business and Education have provided Scholarship information awarded through their departments.  Also included is a link to our USF St. Petersburg Honors Program, and a link to Tampa College of Nursing because of the Pat Vardell Scholarship offered to Pinellas Residents.   Not all scholarships are available at all times.  Contact the individual college website for scholarship opportunities for the semester in which you are interested.

Other USF Scholarship Resources - USF Latino Scholarships, ROTC scholarship link, Lead, Learn and Live Scholarship, and Graduate Fellowship information.

Florida Scholarship Programs - Florida Linkage (LAC) Scholarships are offered to students from Latin Caribbean countries.  Additionally, the State offers a separate application for Florida Scholarships.
