For every student
To apply for study abroad programs at USFSP, you must submit the following items to the International Affairs Office. Please contact International Affairs if you have trouble printing our forms.
- Study Abroad Application
- Student Contract
- Liability Waiver
- Medical Questionnaire
- Course Approval Form
- You may be asked to submit a brief (200 word) statement explaining why you would like to participate in the course
- An unofficial transcript. USF students can include a SASS report instead.
- The name of a faculty member who we can contact as a reference.
Assemble your package, with a deposit check for $300 payable to USF. This deposit is refundable only if you are not accepted on the program, or the program is cancelled by USFSP. To guarantee full consideration, submit your package before the due date. Applications will be accepted until the first day of classes.
For Financial Aid
You may need to submit forms for Financial Aid. These forms will be available from USFSP International Affairs office once you are accepted to the program.
Passports & Visas

U.S. citizens
If you do not already have a passport or if your passport will expire within 6 months of your expected foreign travel, you must apply for a passport. Passport Information & Applications
Check with Foreign Entry Requirements to verify if you will need a visa for your destination(s).
Non-citizens
Contact your Embassy in the U.S. to verify if a visa is required for your destination(s) abroad. Double check that you will be able to reenter the United States by talking to your foreign student advisor! |
