Creative Loafing is seeking an online Content Producer to contribute content to its online sections. This position will be the main point person for online production in designated facilities and will provide daily site production of online features and content including: blogging; developing multimedia content; social networking, end-user interaction, attending editorial meetings; and working with freelancers.

A qualified candidate for this position must be able to interact with internal and external customers as well as assist with any online tools and other technology support as necessary: podcasts, video, etc. Responsibilities also involve being the point person for: projects, fixes, online changes, and completing 1st tier documentation support for all projects in their designated online group. .

Online Communications Specialist

Primary Purpose:
Develops, maintains, and monitors the College of Law web site and other online communications from a communications and marketing perspective.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensures that all Stetson Law web content is accurate, well-crafted and engaging, and aligns with Stetson Law brand strategy
• Implements and maintains content management system, including migration of existing site
• Assists in College of Law marketing initiatives as they relate to use in all formats of electronic communications
• Consults with faculty, staff, and students on development and ongoing maintenance of web pages
• Maximizes web site accessibility, usability, and effectiveness
• Monitors and analyzes existing site traffic to plan improvements in usability, navigation, and content
• Ensures search engine optimization
• Provides training for faculty and staff to facilitate content management and maximizes involvement with the Web site
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least two years professional experience with web writing and design. Exceptionally strong editorial skills and proven aesthetics in typography and graphic design. Sound understanding of Internet and its use as a marketing channel, web design and usability principles, information architecture, and site navigation. Should be detail-oriented and possess good time-management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Computer Skills:
Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, Web standards/languages and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) required. Experience with a content management system preferred. Knowledge of print design software (InDesign or Quark) a plus.

They're looking for students interested in covering high school baseball in the Tampa area and writing editorials for their website.
