Evacuation Drills Planned for Campus Safety

St. Petersburg Fire Rescue LogoThe evacuation drills will range from mid-November through mid-December and will be planned to provide minimal disruption to class and exam schedules. Due to the critical nature of safety and security measures currently being taken nationwide and throughout our communities, a full evacuation of each building during these drills will be required. The USFSP Emergency Operations Plan directs that evacuation drills should be supervised and documented by our police officers.

Dr. Karen White, USFSP VP/CEO asks that "each of you give your fullest cooperation to these exercises, with the understanding that they serve to improve our emergency response capability and general safety. Should you have any questions, please refer them to our Public Safety Director, Bob Siwik at (727) 553-4140."
