USF ST. PETERSBURG STRATEGIC PLAN DRAFT GETS FINISHING TOUCHES

Following a two-year process that included work from faculty, staff and students, a polished draft of USF St. Petersburg's Strategic Plan is receiving finishing touches this week. The five-year plan contains strategic directions that cover research, scholarship and academic programs; academics and campus environment; technology; and administrative infrastructure and fiscal self-sufficiency. Faculty, staff and students have been invited to offer feedback by Friday, Jan. 30.

I AM USF ST. PETERSBURG: PAT SCOTT

Pat Scott pictured with Susan Gordon, Exectutive Director, The Science Center. Pat Scott , a native of St. Petersburg, earned her Bachelors degree from Florida A & M University and Masters in Public Administration from Florida State University. After working in various positions, including 12 years for the late Honorable State Representative, Douglas Jamison, a USF alumnus, she took a position on the Tampa campus as Director of Community Advancement. She shared her responsibilities in the position with USF St. Petersburg, and soon became the full time Coordinator for Community Partnerships on the USFSP campus.

VOLUNTEERS FOR RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE DINNER NEEDED

The next dinner for the Ronald McDonald House will be on Tues. Feb. 10. It will be a Valentine's theme and the main meal will be prepared by the Bayboro Cafe.  Volunteers needed to prepare salads and to serve the meal at 6:30. Contact Barry McDowell at mcdowell@stpt.usf.edu .
