More
than 40 companies packed the Campus Activities Center Wednesday
afternoon for Career Expo 2004. From SouthTrust Bank
to Nielsen Media Research, students had the chance to network
and try out their interview skills for full-time, part-time,
internship and cooperative positions.
The wide range of employer participants were recruiting for
USF St. Petersburg students with majors in marketing, nursing,
human services, social services, education, math, accounting,
finance, criminal justice and psychology. Some companies
such as The St. Petersburg Times, Walgreens, Franklin Templeton
and Primerica Financial Services were recruiting for a variety of
positions that encompassed a number of majors.
Additionally, Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions,
USF Graduate Studies and the USF St. Petersburg's MBA
Program were on
hand to help students take the next step in their academic
journey. Sponsored by the Counseling
and Career Center, more
than 300 students attended the event.
