Net Cast Briefs Campuses on New Study
President Judy Genshaft and Regional Chancellor Karen A. White kicked off the 50th anniversary of the University of South Florida with a new study showing the economic impact of the university and its campuses on the Tampa Bay area.

Professor Named as “The Historian” Editor
David R. Carr, Ph.D., was named editor of “The Historian”, a historical journal and part of Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honorary.  “The Historian” is published quarterly for a worldwide audience.

Step Afrika Stomps to Campus
For the first time, USF St. Petersburg has invited Step Afrika, a talented group of African-American dancers who have traveled all over the country as well as South America, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean, to perform on campus for Black History month.

January is national Blood Donor Month. Two donation sites will be set-up Wednesday, Jan. 25.  The first will be at FWRI 9 am to 3 pm and the second in front of Davis Hall 11 am - 6 pm.  Contact Barry McDowell at 34990 for more information.

Enrollment Services is hosting this month’s Final Friday in the Lobby of Bayboro Hall Jan. 27 5 - 6:30 p.m. Final Fridays are hosted monthly by different departments around campus to bring faculty and staff together for food, fellowship and fun.
