Marine Science
Professor Speaks To Visiting
Ambassadors
The members of Town
and Gown will meet Friday, Jan. 27 at noon to
hear from Al Hine, Ph.D., professor and associate
dean of research for the College of Marine
Sciences. He will speak on
the findings of the Pulley Ridge study
underway in the College of Marine Sciences and
USGS.

Enrollment Services Hosting Final
Friday
Enrollment Services is
hosting this month’s Final Friday in the Lobby of
Bayboro Hall Jan. 27 from 5 - 6:30 p.m. Final Fridays are hosted monthly by different
departments around campus. Final Fridays bring USFSP
faculty and staff together for food, fellowship and fun.

College
application season is in full gear and with it
come standardized testing and anxiety. The
Academic Success Center offers a variety of test
preparation resources and seminars that can help
students feel better prepared for the challenges
they will face on the road ahead. 
Attention all published and
unpublished authors. The contest deadline for the
Ruth and Frank Coleman Award for Excellence in
Short Fiction Writing is Jan. 31 at noon.
Campus
Showcase featured more than 30 booths of student
organizations and campus departments on the south
side of Davis Hall. 
The mailroom is no longer selling
postage stamps due to high costs. A stamp machine
will soon be operable in the student lounge
in Davis Hall.
