Special Olympics Volunteers
Needed If you enjoy sports, the Special
Olympics could use your help on March 4 from 8:30
a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Volunteers are needed to assist
with the track and field events for the
developmentally challenged. The games are held at
Lakewood High School. No skills are needed.

deadline to sign up.

Cochran-Phillips, Ph.D., is a recent addition to
USF St. Petersburg. Cochran-Phillips is the new
director of the Career and Counseling Center. She
joins USF St. Petersburg after 12 years at
the University of Alabama.

Petersburg style. The event is at the Coquina Pool

Spring College
Day Coming
Departments should reserve their table
now! USF St. Petersburg will host Spring
College Day Feb. 28
from 9 a.m. to noon. Prospective students
will tour the campus and look at
Residence Hall One. They
can also attend information sessions on
admissions, financial aid, housing and USF St.
Petersburg’s three colleges.
Departments are encouraged to
reserve tables for the event. Any organizations or
departments that are interested can contact
Destiny Wilt in Prospective Student Services
at 3-4802. Local radio station 93.3 WFLZ will
broadcast
live.

Florida Humanities is purchasing a new copier and
their current copier, a Konica Minolta copier,
Model 6001, is available for any department to
pick up. The copier is in good
