Parking in the Midst of the Grand Prix
The street signs are ready, the fences are up and the banners hang high. This weekend marks the annual Honda Grand Prix in St. Petersburg.

For those intending to visit campus Friday, Saturday or Sunday, make sure your parking hang tag is up to date and present or you could pay money.

Authors Mesmerize Crowd
It was standing room only as two longtime friends and authors took the stage at the studio@620 in downtown St. Petersburg Tuesday night.  Ray Arsenault, USFSP professor, and John Hope Franklin were featured during an evening of conversation and food.

Spring Fest ’06
Saturday, April 8 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. come out and celebrate the closing of Spring Fling week with good ol’ family fun. Festivities include: a petting zoo, caricaturist, hot dogs, carnival games, duck pond, three legged race and an egg hunt. Enjoy a day in the sun on the USFSP Harborside Lawn. Don't forget to encourage students to submit their unpublished work to the Society for the Advancement of Poynter Library's 20th Annual Bayboro Fiction Contest. Deadline to submit is April 7. Visit the Poynter Library Web site for details.


USFSP is looking for softball players to compete in St. Peterburg's softball league. Each team is co-ed and cannot exceed 20 players. Only ten of each gender is allowed on one team. Teams will play on Tuesday at Northshore Park and Thursday at Woodlawn Field. The league begins April 4. Players must sign up at the Campus Activities Center front desk. For more information contact Marcus Berry, coordinator of Fitness and Intramurals, at 3-4202.
