New Food Venues a
Possibility
Residence Hall One is the first

24-hour campus, but soon new food venues may
arrive giving the increasing number of students on

Campus Plays Home to Young
Thespians
USF St. Petersburg is co-sponsoring
American Stage’s Summer Camp 2006 and is offering
space in the sessions. As USF faculty and
staff, you receive a 15 percent discount on all
four sessions.
Each will culminate with a showcase for family
and friends that will be performed at The
Palladium, 253 5th Avenue, St. Petersburg.
All performances have free admission.

A Can-Do Attitude for 20
Years
USF St. Petersburg welcomed an
unforgettable character the day Ron Bugg became
Physical Plant director. The year 1985
marked a time USFSP campus would begin
to hear the comical wit from Bugg, and 2006 is the
year USFSP will lose a one-of-a-kind guy.

Journalism Professor Gives Back

Cheryl A. Koski, Ph.D., assistant
professor in journalism, recently presented an
award with her name on it, one that she hopes will
help students outside the mainstream achieve their
academic dreams.

Wharf Rats, on Deck!
It's that
time of year again when USF St. Petersburg
employees show their softball skills and
pride at the 23rd Annual USF Softball Event
and Taste of Bull Country Saturday, May 13 at USF
Tampa.
It's a time to relax and mingle with fellow USF
employees. This year Marcus Berry, coordinator of
fitness and intramurals, will coordinate the Wharf
Rats, USFSP's softball team. If you're interested
in joining the team contact Berry at 3-4202.
