Senses Collide
USFSP Hosts National Synesthesia Conference
The Sixth Annual National Meeting of the American Synesthesia
Association is Friday, Jan. 26 through Sunday, Jan. 28 in Davis
Hall. Synesthesia, which means joined senses, is a neurological
condition in which two or more bodily senses are combined that
occurs in approximately one in 2,000 people.

Research Receives Credit
Thomas Ainscough, assistant professor of marketing in
the College of Business, was recently awarded the Martin Opperman
Best Article of the Year Award for his article "The Effect of
Band, Agent and Price on Consumer Evaluation of Travel
Services." The article was published in the Journal of
Travel & Tourism Marketing.
