New Dean of
Arts and Sciences
Regional Chancellor Karen A. White has named Frank
Biafora, PhD, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Biafora will
begin July 1.
White said that faculty, staff and students participated
in the evaluation and interview process of candidates. "The
leadership of the dean of our College of Arts
and Sciences is critical as the college is the heart of our university.
The college houses the largest number of programs and majors and offers
core curriculum courses that affect the education of all USF St.
Petersburg students."

Each semester, the USF
Alumni Association and Pinellas County Alumni Chapter recognize one
outstanding graduate who has demonstrated exceptional achievement in
leadership, scholastics, community service, work experience and school
spirit. Submit your nominations for the 2007 Outstanding Graduate Award

Honda Grand Prix Races Our Way
The Honda Grand Prix of St.
Petersburg is back on the streets of dowtown
St. Petersburg
March 30-April 1.
The three-day event features an IndyCar
Series, Indy Pro Series and American Le Mans Series. Other activities include:
concerts, interactive attractions and family entertainment.
IRL race fans will see campus advertising during race
weekend. TV commercials featuring Student Government leaders Meghan
Willoughby and Ernest McDonald will air in the grandstands and enrollment
advertisements will be found in the official race program and event
venues.
