I would like to wish all of you a happy new year, and remind you how to order audio-visual equipment for your classroom.

Date: January 5, 2004

To All USF St. Petersburg Faculty & Staff:

For your use, we have a TV/VCR, overhead projector and computer in every classroom. It is however, very important that you still submit a written request to the AV department if you plan on using this equipment. By submitting a request, you will insure that the equipment is inspected and in good working order when you are ready to use it. Please do not move AV equipment from room to room. If you have any problems with any equipment, call us (3-4409) and we will bring you a replacement.

You may order AV equipment for your classes in the following way:

•  Send in the attached form via campus mail to: POY221

•  Fax your request form to: 727-553-4127 (3-4127)

•  E-mail requests to the department at: AV@nelson.usf.edu

•  Use the online request form at: http://www.nelson.usf.edu/scripts/smtp_email.pl

Online Internet requests will be confirmed with a replied receipt. No phone requests, please .

All small easily stolen items such as camcorders, audiocassette recorders, microphones, etc. should be requested in advance and arranged to be picked up and returned to the Instructional Media Department. If you require special equipment or service, let us know at your earliest convenience so we can guarantee its availability.

Please help us to fill every request on time by requesting materials at least

24 hours in advance . If you have any questions about how we can help you with your instructional media needs, feel free to call us (3-4409). Our office is open 7 days a week for your support. For additional information please visit us on the web at: http://www.nelson.usf.edu/av/
