CRIME ALERT! USF POLICE CRIME ALERT BULLETIN
The purpose of crime alert bulletins is to inform campus citizens of incidents or activities occurring in the community that may pose a threat to their safety and security. ATTENTION:
AUTO BURGLARIES OCCURRED: Lots 2(main lot) and 20 (airport lot)
There have been three recent burglaries from automobiles parked on campus. Lot 20, October 25, a laptop computer was stolen from a truck while the student was in class. In Lot 2 on November 5, a stereo was stolen from a truck while a student was attending an on-campus event. In Lot 2 on November 5, several items of personal property were reported stolen from a passenger car. Three black male subjects were seen breaking into the car. They fled in a 1980’s white four door Ford when the car alarm was activated. The St. Petersburg Police Department reports a recent increase in auto burglary near our campus.
ALWAYS remember, "Members of the campus community need to continually take precautions for their safety and protection." Persons having information about ANY criminal incidents or who see ANY suspicious activity on campus, are encouraged to IMMEDIATELY contact the University Police at 553-4140.
