The Beginning Open Water course provides participants with PDIC certification. Classes are structured with both pool and classroom sessions, followed by a weekend of open water dives at Crystal River and Rainbow River.

All classes will be held at the USF St. Petersburg Waterfront facility on the USF St. Petersburg campus.
Snorkel Trip
We’re headed for the Rainbow River to spend the afternoon canoeing and snorkeling in the natural spring water. No Scuba certification necessary. We'll meet at the waterfront and carpool as a group to the river. We're taking our kayaks and snorkeling gear. Bring your suit, sunscreen, and snacks! Click here for more details.
